What a
difference a year makes in the real estate market in Andover, MN! Closed
sales are up considerably combined with a slight drop in new listings has put
home sellers into the drivers seat. Closed sales are up over 16% while new
listings were down just under 6%. This pushed the average sales price up from
just under $200,000 to over $216K! Likewise the average price per square foot in
Andover rose
from $88/sq ft in 2011 to an average of $94/foot in 2012. Another sign that the
market has turned is the drop in days on the market. It took an average of 154
days to sell an Andover
home in 2011 but only 111 days to sell on average in 2012. It seems that home
buyers no longer have the advantage over sellers in the Andover real estate market. With home inventory low and demand high,
sellers will find 2013 a good year to list their homes.
