The housing market in North Oaks, Minnesota saw significant improvement in 2015. This north metro Ramsey County community with private roads, golf course and upscale executive homes increased new listings and closed sales in 2015.  There was also a nice year over year increase in the average sales price which was up almost 9% to $727,159. The amount sellers are receiving on their homes is close to asking their asking at 96.7% which is up over 3% from 2014. The average price per square footage likewise jumped from $154/square foot in 2014 to $179 at the end of the year which is an increase of over 16%. Time on the market to sell a North Oaks home, is down by over 26% with homes taking just over 4 months to sell on average. This is higher than other communities in the metro but with price points significantly higher in this unique, upscale community, this is expected.
